The Big Meat for 2018 will take place over the August bank holiday Weekend, 25th & 26th @ Pierrepont Farm, The Reeds Road, Farnham, GU10 2DL. 11am-11pm! Have a look at the map below for the location, but there will be plenty of signs around on the day to guide you to the meat – that’s if you can’t smell the smokers!
We are still firming up many of the details and attractions for 2018, but check out what happened last year, including all of the music, the BBQ competition, cooking demos, shopping, food & drink, kids fun and what was new for 2017!

How it all got started…
In 2015, around a fire pit and after a few beers, James & Leo came up with what seemed like a good idea – get a group of like minded people together on a local farm to share their love of cooking and eating BBQ! After announcing the news online, they realised they’d better put their money where their mouth was and after a whirlwind three months The Big Meat went live celebrating great food, great music and great craft beer.
Since then things have got just a little bit bigger and it’s grown to a full weekend… The Big Meat now blends the social aspects of music and barbecuing with competitive cooking through the IBQN and UK Chilli Cook Off Association along with a heavy dash of learning through our demonstration stage.
Tom – blogger on High Steak BBQ and judge from the 2016 Big Meat has since joined the team and is looking forward to this year’s festival which is looking better than ever!
